On 21st June, we celebrated the summer solstice with a traditional Polish 'Wianki' event, where we shared stories of this magical night in Polish folklore, made flower garlands, and enjoyed homemade bread and mead together. We sang traditional folk songs, searched for the legendary 'kwiat paproci' (fern flower), and ended the evening by floating our garlands onto the river in the spirit of ancient customs. It was a beautiful evening of storytelling, music, and community, honouring Polish traditions under the midsummer sky.
